A new venture established in 2023, Tambal Solutions is an Indigenous-owned labour hire company based in the Great Southern Region of WA.
Tambal Solutions provides exceptional labour hire services for mining, civil and earthworks industries across Western Australia, while upholding values of respect, community engagement and cultural preservation.
Tambal engaged LeadGen Digital Services to build a website for their new organisation. Given Tambal was operating on a limited budget, LeadGen proposed an ideal solution: a one-page website that reduced costs by simplifying the design and build process while preserving professional design standards.
Reflecting a commitment to Country
As a locally-owned Indigenous enterprise, Tambal wanted their website, and branding as a whole, to:
- reflect their Indigenous identity and cultural heritage
- highlight their deep and enduring connection to Country
- explain the binding values, or ‘Pillars,’ of their organisation
LeadGen thoughtfully and sensitively considered these elements through the design process to create a site that authentically expressed Tambal’s identity, while succinctly providing visitors with key information about Tambal’s service offerings, quality standards and contact details.
As the company continues to expand and grow, Tambal requested a future-proof website that could be built upon as new services are offered.
What we built
Identity elements
Elements highlighting Tambal’s connection to country featured prominently, with each section providing enough space for the written text to explore them in depth. Full screen images of the Great Southern Region, including the Stirling Ranges, gave the site a panoramic, epic appearance. We also incorporated Tambal’s spiral logo into the page as a background element.
Written copy
The written copy achieved a number of things: efficiently outline Tambal’s service offerings, demonstrate the company’s professionalism and extensive industry experience, and highlight elements of heritage and identity.
Efficient one-page design
Being a one-page website, it was important the the design included the necessary content while maintaining efficiency, avoiding excessive scrolling and allowing the content sufficient space to breathe. To achieve this, we employed design features such as hover boxes and a slide-in menu and footer.
Migrating to a better hosting provider
Tambal’s website struggled with performance lags and server issues due to a lacklustre hosting provider. LeadGen recommended that Tambal switch to a high performing hosting company. We facilitated the transfer of Tambal’s domain to the new provider, liaising with representatives of both companies to achieve a secure and efficient migration.
Producing branded materials
As Tambal continued to build their client base, they required additional branded material including posters. LeadGen created a one-page poster that matched the visual appeal of Tambal’s branding and provided key information for clients.
