The Binalup Aboriginal Corporation is a newly-founded Aboriginal Corporation working throughout the Wagyl-Kaip region of Western Australia.
Binalup Aboriginal Corporation was founded in 2021 and is focused on working hard to build a solid foundation for Noongar Cultural Rangers. The corporation’s hope is for Noongar families to work together to unite their communities and connect the younger generations back to their Culture and Country.
Working on Country
The Binalup Aboriginal Corporation approached us to update their draft website to better showcase their wide range of community and environmental programs and commitment to the Noongar people. As a newly founded Aboriginal Corporation in Western Australia, they wanted a modern site to highlight their cultural heritage and initiatives.
Their specific goals were to:
- Create a more modern, visually appealing design
- Improve site navigation and content organisation
- Showcase their Cultural Ranger program and community initiatives
- Reflect the Corporation’s focus on Noongar cultural heritage

Simplified website structure
Information on the draft website was spread out over 10 pages focused on individual programs and aspects of the organisation. We consolidated the excess pages into a simplified menu structure with key pages including Home, About, Working on Country, Our Partners, Contact. This assisted user navigation, allowing visitors to more easily find the information they needed about the Corporation’s activities, vision and partnerships.
Visual focus
We retained the draft website’s focus on visual imagery, redesigning visually-focused pages with large hero images of relevant programs. We placed in prominent positions vibrant imagery of community, Country, and the Noongar Cultural Rangers in action.
Professional content
We reviewed the existing written content and made professional edits and updates to ensure the site clearly conveyed the Binalup Aboriginal Corporation’s commitment to its heritage and values.
